Step 1
Despite the fact that the original purpose of computers is to perform computational work, most users use these devices for completely different purposes. The overwhelming majority of people consider a personal computer as a means of access to various information networks and a gaming platform.
Step 2
Currently, a personal computer means not only stationary PCs, but also laptops with all their varieties, tablets and even PDAs. The serial production of personal computers began in 1977. It was the Apple ll model. The first mass sales began in 1984. The Apple Macintosh model was especially popular.
Step 3
The release of such personal computers, as we can see them at the moment, began in 1995. This was due to the emergence of the Windows 95 operating system. Its key feature was that virtually no skills were required from the user to successfully use the capabilities of a personal computer.
Step 4
Modern PCs consist of three main parts: a system unit, a monitor, and all kinds of data input devices. Naturally, in this case we are talking about the classical representation of a computer. There are monoblocks, which are a symbiosis of the monitor and the system unit. Laptops (mobile PCs) allow you to use the capabilities of your computer without placing it in a specific location and without requiring an AC connection.
Step 5
Tablet PCs are the continuation of the mobile computer series. In this case, the input device is not a keyboard, but a touch-sensitive (touch-sensitive) screen. Pocket PCs are similar to desktop computers only in architecture. They can't do most of the tasks that desktops and laptops can do well.
