Using the so-called "live" cameras, you can move, without getting up from your chair, to the most different parts of the world. Every Internet user can see in real time, say, a busy intersection in Tokyo or a zoo in Sydney.
Instructions
Step 1
Please note that searching for live cameras using search engines is very difficult. For this, use special search engines specifically designed only to find such cameras. One of them is located at the following address:
Step 2
Please note that some of the camera sites require additional software to be viewed: QuickTime, Flash, Silverlight (for Linux - Moonlight), Java, Windows Media Player. Either install as many of the plugins listed above as possible, or accept the fact that you will not be able to use some of the cameras.
Step 3
Enter on a specialized site in the search box the name of the country, city, camera images of which you want to see.
Step 4
You will receive a list of found cameras with examples of images from them (not taken in real time). Choose among them one in front of which the situation often changes (people, animals walk, vehicles drive). If desired, first select the type of cameras in the top line (for example, located above the roads, or available for viewing from mobile phones). Also, when choosing a camera, be guided by its rating, indicated by the stars.
Step 5
You will be redirected to a third-party site. If there are several cameras on it, select one of them. If it turns out that the site is no longer working, use a specialized search engine link "Report Broken Link".
Step 6
If the camera displays static images, see how often they are automatically updated. If this does not happen, periodically carry out such an update yourself. Don't manually refresh the page too often to prevent the server from mistaking your actions for an attack. Cameras that transmit static images have the advantage that they can also be viewed from a mobile phone.
Step 7
If the image does not refresh for too long, check the timetable for this camera. If it is turned off now, go to a different time (taking into account the time zone), or use a different camera.
