The 1C program and its subtypes (accounting, production, warehouse, etc.) were developed by specialists of the company, which bears the same name. The company is engaged not only in software development - 1C has a wide profile. Like any software, 1C requires constant updating of the program code.

Step 1
After starting the program, select the "Configurator" mode, as well as the database you need. Click OK. To be sure that the update will be painless for the database, make a copy of them. Click the Configuration menu, then select Merge Configurations. In the window that opens, select the file with the *.md extension.
Step 2
You will see the "Combine configurations" window. Here you need to check the following points:
- there should be a check mark opposite the item "Loadable configuration" in the group "Configuration priority";
- there should be a check mark opposite the item "Replace objects" in the group "Merge method".
Step 3
Click OK to merge the configurations. Upon completion of this procedure, the "Configuration" window will open. Close this window. In the "Configurator" window, you must answer positively to the request for "Performing the saving of metadata.
Step 4
In the "Information reorganization" window that opens, click the "Accept" button. The "Configurator" window will appear in front of you again, click on the "OK" button to complete the "Information reorganization" operation.
Step 5
To update the program via the “Load modified configuration” function, start the “Configurator” by selecting the required database. Then you need to make a copy of the database. Select Load Modified Configuration from the Configuration menu.
Step 6
In the "Open Configuration File" window, find a suitable file with the *.md extension. Answer affirmatively to the following question of the Configurator: “The selected configuration file is not a descendant of this file !!! Data corruption may occur during restructuring !!! Proceed?".
Step 7
Close the "Configuration" window by answering affirmatively to the question "Do you want to save metadata?" In the new Reorganization Information window, click the Accept button, then the OK button.
