Sony Vegas Pro is a professional video processing tool that is one of the most powerful and popular today. To install it correctly, you will need to use the program installation file and the corresponding items in the installer application.
Instructions
Step 1
Insert the CD with the program into your computer's drive and wait for the installation utility to start automatically. If you do not have a disc with the program, download the latest version of the video editor from the official Sony website and run the resulting file to install.
Step 2
In the window that appears, select the language that you would like to use during the procedure. In the next menu item of the installer, you will need to accept the terms of the license agreement. To do this, check the box next to I have read the End User License Agreement. Then click Next.
Step 3
In the next window you will be asked to select a directory for installing the program. It is best to leave the specified value as the default, but if you use other logical partitions of the hard disk to install programs, specify the directory that is most convenient for you. Check the box next to Create a shortcut on the desktop if you want to have a shortcut to launch the video editor after installation. Click Install.
Step 4
After a notification about successful installation appears, close the installer and launch the program using the shortcut on the desktop or through the appropriate section of the Start menu. You will see a window that notifies you to register your product. Click Next.
Step 5
Enter the serial code that is printed on the box with the software disc or that was given to you during the purchase process from the online store. After entering the sequence of characters, click Next. Then select Register online to activate a copy of the program via the Internet. When prompted, enter the activation code from the box with the disc and click "Next". If you enter the required data correctly, the program will start. Installation completed.
Step 6
Click the Yes button to associate the Sony Vegas.veg project files with the program. After the interface has finished loading, you will be able to use all the editor's functions.
