Step 1

Make sure the modem is turned on and connected to your computer. Launch any Internet browser (Opera, Internet Explorer, etc.), open a new tab in it.

Step 2

Enter the IP address of the modem in the address bar. You can find out what address your modem has from the instructions for it. In this case, the address bar will look like this: https://192.168.1.1. or https://192.168.0.1. Hit Enter

On the loaded authorization page, enter the username and password, which are also indicated in the instructions for the modem.

The modem management page will open. Find a feature called "Backup Settings". Depending on the modem model, it can be located in different submenus, but usually it is "Tools" or "System". In the manual for the modem, there is usually a description of the menu items on the control page, look in it exactly where this function is located.

Step 5

Click the "Backup" button and specify the path to save the settings file. Confirm your choice and wait until the settings are saved, usually it takes about a minute.

Step 6

To load the settings later from the saved file, use the "Update Settings" function, which is usually located in the same window with the save settings function. To do this, click the "Update" button and specify the path to the saved file.
