In any modern computer game, it is possible to change the screen resolution. This makes it possible to synchronize it with what is installed as a monitor. You can also make the resolution higher than necessary to improve the quality of the picture, or lower - this will increase the performance of the computer. To do this, you need to change certain settings of the game through a special interface.
It is necessary
- 1. Personal computer.
- 2. Computer game.
Instructions
Step 1
First, look in the game folder for a file with a name like "cofig.exe", "configure.exe", "setting.exe" or "setup.exe". These names usually have files that launch the game settings menu without launching the game itself. In the section under the name "video" or "graphics" select the resolution you need and save the changes.
Step 2
If there is no such file, start the game itself. In the interface that appears, select the "settings" menu. There will be presented various sections: sound setting, control and video parameters. After selecting the graphics settings, set the desired resolution and save the result.
Step 3
Resolution can also be changed manually without using special interfaces. The game folder usually contains a file called "config.ini", "setting.ini", etc. You can open it with notepad and find the section with graphics settings. In it, you can rewrite the resolution from the selected one to the required one (for example, from 1024x768 to 1920x1080). Then close the file and save the changes.
