This trick is available to all owners of computers running Windows 7, 8 or 10 versions. Only 5 minutes of time and a few simple manipulations will awaken the speech capabilities of the computer and make it greet you every time you turn it on, using a synthesized voice.
The welcome message with a customizable voice prompt at startup is available for all operating systems in the Windows family. What exactly the computer will say when it is turned on is written in a special text file. One or more words can be used as a welcome speech. The text itself, which we ask the computer as a welcome speech, must be written in Latin.
1. Create a text document. Its location doesn't matter
2. Copy and paste the following entry into it:
Set sapi = CreateObject ("sapi.spvoice")
sapi. Speak "Privet".
In this entry, the word "Privet" is the command for the computer to speak. You can replace this word with your name or with the expression you want to hear.
3. Save the changes in the text file by clicking on the "save as" command in the menu. The operating system will offer on the hard disk to choose the location where the file will be saved. All we need to do is indicate the file extension in the name. As a result, the name of the text file should look like this: "the name of the file itself.vbs"
4. Drag the created document to startup.
Before doing this, you need to access hidden files and folders. To do this, go to the control panel and click on the "folder settings" icon, go to the "view" tab. All that remains is to put a checkmark in front of the "show hidden files and folders" item and confirm your choice by pressing the OK button. The necessary access has been obtained, all that remains to be done is to upload the resulting file with the vbs-extension to the desired directory: My computer / drive C / Users / username / AppData / Roaming / Microsoft / Windows / Main menu / Programs / Startup.
5. Restart your computer
