It often happens that a computer you purchased has connectors on the front panel for audio devices, but the internal ribbon cable is not connected to the corresponding connectors on the sound card. In order to check the performance of this type of connector, you need to turn on the computer - wait for the operating system to load - start any player - insert the headphone plug into the green connector on the front panel of the system unit. If the sound disappears from the speakers, but appears in the headphones, then everything was connected correctly.

But it also happens that the internal loop is not connected to the sound card. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary to turn the system unit towards you with the back side. As a rule, 2 wires with jack 3, 5 plugs should be visible on the back of the system unit. One of them will be green (speakers-), the other wire will be pink (microphone).
