Step 1
To clear virtual memory, go to Start. There you can see an item such as "Search". Open and enter the word secpol.msc there. Press "Enter" on the keyboard. Look for the line called "Shutting Down: Clearing the Virtual Memory Paging File". Double click on it with the mouse (left button). You can do it differently. Go to "Start" and click on "Search". The program will prompt you to find information. Enter the command "Regedit". Go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Control Session Manager Memory Management". On the right side, look for the "ClearPageFileAtShutdown" parameter. You can use the "Group Policy Editor" tab. On the left side, click on the "Computer Configuration" column. Then select the "Windows Settings" tab. Go to "Security Options" and "Local Policies". Then select "Security Options". In the right part of the window that appears, click on "Shutdown: Clear ….". Then select the "Enabled" item. Click on "Ok".
Step 3
Download a program such as Memory Booster Gold to your computer. When you run it, it automatically cleans up virtual memory. If you wish, you can do it all manually. To do this, you will use the "Clear" button. Go to the command line through "Start". Type the word "msconfig" there. Press the "Enter" button on the keyboard. Next, an autoload window will open. In it, check the box that you would like to delete. After restarting or shutting down the computer, they will be deleted automatically.
