Temperature conditions are very important for computer components. This means that overheating of any of the parts will sooner or later lead to breakage. Therefore, it is always worth keeping track of your PC's "health" metrics. This is especially true of the motherboard - the most important part of the computer. Moreover, if it is not equipped with a cooling fan.
Instructions
Step 1
Install the monitoring and diagnostic program. The easiest way to find out the temperature of the motherboard is to run a special program such as Everest or AIDA64. Launch your browser and open any search engine page. Type in the search bar "Download AIDA64". The first link www.aida64.com/downloads leads to the developer's site in the downloads section. Go to it and download the trial version (Trial Version) in any of the options. The Extreme Edition has the widest set of features, but absolutely any of the downloadable ones will do. The program works on both 32-bit and 64-bit systems.
Step 2
Right-click on the archive with the program and select "Unzip". Open the folder where the archive will be unpacked and run the aida64. The program splash screen will appear, and after scanning the devices, the main window will open. On the left side of the window, the categories of equipment about which information can be displayed are listed.
Step 3
Click on "Computer" in the left column, and on the right side of the screen, click on the "Sensor" icon. A list of all components appears, the sensors of which provide information about their work. Find the item "Motherboard" and opposite you will see the temperature in degrees. Please note that the utility is paid, and hides some values until you enter the activation code. You can just run aida64 several times - each time different data will be hidden.
Step 4
Download the free information program HWiNFO32 or HWiNFO64 for 32-bit or 64-bit systems respectively. To do this, go to the website https://www.hwinfo.com and click on the link to download the archive with the utility. Unpack the archive anywhere on your hard drive, open the folder and run the HWiNFO32.exe file. A small window will open with Configure and Run buttons. Check the box next to sensor-only and click Run. Find in the middle part of the table that will open after polling the sensors, the line labeled Motherboard. On the contrary, the temperature of the motherboard will be recorded: its current, minimum and maximum values.
