Instructions

Step 1

Install the webcam driver in your laptop, which you will find on the disc that came with your laptop. If you do not have this disc, find and download the driver on the Internet. To do this, open a search engine site in your browser (www.google.ru, for example) and enter the following in the input field of the key request: "download the driver (full model of your laptop)"

Step 2

Go to the "Start" menu and click on the "Control Panel" item - you will see the Windows Control Panel. Switch to the classic tool display view. Find the tool "Install hardware" in the list and double-click on it with the left mouse button. So, the hardware installation wizard has started.

Step 3

Click on the "Next" button at the bottom of the window. The system will search for equipment connected to your laptop and ask if the device is connected to the computer. Select the answer item "Yes, the device is already connected", and then click on the "Next" button.

Step 4

Now you have a list of devices, controllers and drivers functioning in your laptop. Scroll to the bottom of this list, the last line will be "Add a new device". Highlight this item and click Next.

Step 5

The wizard will ask you about automatic or manual driver installation. If you have a disk for your laptop, then insert it into the drive and select automatic hardware installation. If the driver is located somewhere in a directory on your hard drive, select manual installation from the list of drivers.

Step 6

In the list, select "Sound, video and game controllers" and click on the "Next" button. On the left side of the open window, select "Standard system devices", and on the right - "Video recorders (without PnP). Now click on the "Have Disk …" button. In the dialog box that opens, click on the "Browse" button and specify the location of the driver. After that click "OK" and "Next". The system will complete the driver installation. Click Finish to close the wizard.
