Instructions
Step 1
Click Start. Go to the "Control Panel". In Control Panel, locate and open the Date and Time component. In the window that appears, go to the "Time zone" tab. Then select the time zone in which you live in the list and click "Apply".

Then go to the "Internet Time" tab. If you are using the Windows7 operating system, then in the next window select the "Change settings" component. In the case of Windows XP, the required window will open immediately. In it, select the "Update now" option. In a second, the time on your computer will be synchronized with the Internet.

If you have permanent access to the Internet on your computer, then you need to check the box next to the line "Synchronize with a time server on the Internet", and then click OK. In the next window, click on "Apply". Now the computer will always have the exact date and time.

You can also use the TuneUp Utilities 2011 program for time synchronization settings. Download the program from the Internet and install it on your computer. Start it up. Wait for the scan of your computer to complete. After that, you will be prompted to optimize the system. If you wish, you can agree. Then you will find yourself in the main menu of the program.
Step 5
Go to the Windows Settings tab. After that, in the "Change Windows settings" section, find the "Change system settings" option. On the left side of the window, you will see several sections. Find the section "Communication", and in it - the component "Network". Click on this component with the left mouse button. Next, in the right window of the program, go to the "Internet Time" tab.
Step 6
Further in the section "Time servers" select the required server for synchronization. When synchronizing with any of the proposed servers, the time will be accurate. After that, check the box next to the line "Automatic synchronization with the time server". Click "Apply" and OK.
