Instructions

Step 1

As a rule, the first switching on of the laptop occurs in the store, during the purchase check. A qualified salesperson will show you how to turn on your device and follow all the steps to get you started for the first time. If this did not happen, and in front of you is a box with a newly purchased laptop, you will have to learn to work with it yourself.

Step 2

Remove the laptop from the packaging, remove the protective films from it. Insert the battery into the compartment on the bottom of the device, plug in the power cord and plug it in. On the laptop case, usually on the left, an orange light should light up, signaling that the battery is charging. If the battery is charged, the indicator will be blue.

Step 3

Raise your laptop screen if you haven't already. Connect the mouse to any USB port, it is more convenient to work with it than with a touchpad (touch panel). Then find the power button, it is located just below the screen. As a rule, this is the central button, to the left and to the right of it there may be buttons for turning on the touchpad and Wi-Fi.

Step 4

Press the power button. The second (blue) indicator light will light up, the power button itself will light up. The first lines of checking the configuration of the computer will run across the screen, then the splash screen of the loaded OS will appear. As a rule, Windows 7 is preinstalled on most laptops.

Step 5

During the first boot, several windows may appear in which you will need to enter some information. For example, the name under which you will work on the laptop, preferred language (select Russian), time zone, etc. All these steps are simple and straightforward and are unlikely to cause any difficulties.

Step 6

If you don't have a mouse, use the touchpad. To check, slide your finger across the touchpad, the cursor should move. If it doesn't respond, the touchpad is disabled. To turn it on, press the button next to the power button, a hand can be drawn on or next to the touchpad. In the off position, the touchpad button can be illuminated with an orange indicator. After entering all the data, the system will save them, you will see the Windows 7 desktop. The laptop is ready to work.
