A booklet is a small print edition, usually one page. Its purpose is to familiarize the reader with the company, its range of products and services, as well as obtain contact information. How to make it up?
Necessary
- - computer;
- - skills in working with Adobe Photoshop.
Instructions
Step 1
Launch Adobe Photoshop to start layout of the booklet. First, design your future booklet on a piece of paper, fold it the way your booklet will be folded and decide where what information should be located. Immediately decide on the names of these constituent parts in order to name the layer groups in Photoshop with the same names.
Step 2
Create a new document in Adobe Photoshop to start creating your brochure. Press the key combination Ctrl + R for the ruler to appear, hold down the left mouse button and pull out one guideline horizontally, similarly vertically. Position the guides according to the borders of the document. Add an inch to the width and height of the document using the Image - Canvas Size menu to trim the booklet later.
Step 3
Create three columns using the Rectangle Tool. Create two copies of it to divide the A4 sheet into three columns. Select the three rectangles, drag the right node to the right border, press Enter. The rectangles will expand in equal proportions. Select the middle one, set new guides and delete the rectangles to make a booklet with three tabs. Make the background for the booklet using the Paint Bucket and Gradient tool. Use ready-made textures to add effects.
Step 4
Now fill the booklet with graphic elements, add the necessary text to it. When working with layers, use different blending effects such as shadow and blending modes. Booklet title should be added in the right column and contact information in the left. In the middle column, insert a picture describing the activities of the company. You will have a booklet cover ready.
Step 5
Make copies of all created layers, remove the text from them. Fill in the columns with text about your company, this information will be inside the booklet. Save the file in *.pdf format. The brochure is now complete in Adobe Photoshop.
