The quick launch panel is needed in order to call up frequently used applications by the user in one click. If it suddenly disappears from the taskbar, there are several steps to take.

Instructions

Step 1

Since the Quick Launch area is an integral part of the taskbar, go ahead and customize the specified panel. Open the "Control Panel" through the "Start" menu, select the "Taskbar and Start Menu" icon in the "Appearance and Themes" category by clicking on it with the left mouse button. A new dialog box will open.

Step 2

In the Windows operating system, the same action can be performed in different ways. If the path described in the first step seems too long for you, right-click on the taskbar and select Properties from the context menu with the left mouse button. The same dialog box will open.

Step 3

Go to the "Taskbar" tab in it. In the Taskbar Styling group, select the box opposite the Show Quick Launch Toolbar with a marker. Click on the "Apply" button in the lower right corner and close the window with the OK button or the [x] icon. To the right of the Start button, the Quick Launch bar will appear.

Step 4

Alternative way: right-click on the taskbar in any place free from icons. In the context menu, expand the "Toolbars" item and set the marker opposite the "Quick Launch" sub-item using the left mouse button.

Step 5

If you have previously placed application icons on the Quick Launch, the area may be somewhat narrowed after recovery. Click on the taskbar with the right mouse button and remove the marker from the "Dock taskbar" item in the drop-down menu.

Step 6

Move your mouse cursor to the right edge of the Quick Launch area and wait for the cursor to change to a double-headed arrow. Hold down the left mouse button and drag the border of the panel to the right until all the icons are displayed. Dock the taskbar by placing the previously removed marker opposite the "Dock taskbar" item in the context menu.
