Step 1
The easiest way to find out the brand of the motherboard is from the manual for it. Typically, the model name is indicated on the title page. You can also look at the warranty card, if it contains a detailed description of your computer's components.

Also, very often the brand of the motherboard is written on the first screen, which appears immediately after turning on the computer. But since this screen is only displayed for a few seconds, you may not have time to remember it.

It is best to use special software to determine the brand of the motherboard. One of the simplest utilities with which you can find out this information is called CPUID CPU-Z. Download it and install it. Run the utility. A few seconds after the completion of the computer scan, you will be taken to the program menu.

The information about the system will be broken down into several parts. Select the section called Mainboard. In the window that appears, find the Motherboard section. Find the line Model. It will contain the name of the brand of the motherboard. There is also a Manufactures line in this section, where you can see the manufacturer of your motherboard.

You can also use the AIDA64 Extreme Edition program. Unlike CPUID CPU-Z, this program shows more detailed information regarding the components of the computer. Download it and install it on your computer. Run the program. Wait a few seconds while it analyzes your system.
Step 6
After that, select "Motherboard" in the right window of the program. In the next window, also select the "Motherboard" component. The uppermost section of the window that opens is called "Motherboard Properties". In this section, you can see the brand of the motherboard. You can also see other useful information about the board.
