To work, you need the Borland Delphi 7 programming environment, you can find it on the net. Download the program, install. After launching, you will see Form1 - this is a template for the interface of the future application. At the top of the program window there is a palette of components, you can simply drag them onto the form with the mouse. This is how you can create buttons, text boxes, and more.

The size of the form, like the buttons, can be changed. Give the shape the dimensions you need by simply dragging its edges with the mouse. Give the buttons names. To do this, select it and in the left part of the window, in the Caption line, enter the required text. Likewise, you can change the names of any elements.

By clicking the green arrow, you run the created program and you can see how it will look. But the buttons won't work yet. For them to perform their functions, you should write event handlers for them, that is, you specify what should happen when the button is pressed.

Close the running program, then double-click any button on the form. The code editor window will open, and you need to enter the desired line into it. It is necessary to get used to the correct programming style from the very beginning, this is very important. First, determine what kind of program you need, what it should do, what interface it should have. Then create an algorithm for its work, that is, write down the points, what should happen and how. A well-designed algorithm will save you a lot of time and allow you to create a good program.

The finished algorithm must be translated into the code language. Be sure to insert comments into the code, otherwise after a while you will hardly be able to understand the program code.
