Step 1
Use standard Microsoft Windows operating system tools to remove traces of removable drives from your computer. To do this, open the context menu by right-clicking on the "My Computer" icon on the desktop and go to the "Control" item.

Specify the command "Show hidden devices" and go to the section "Universal dispatch controllers. USB bus ".

Remove any devices that are pale gray (inactive).
