When processing footage, sometimes it becomes necessary to apply a video mirroring effect. The easiest way to accomplish this task is to use the preinstalled Windows Live Movie Maker, which can be found in the list of standard Windows 7 applications.
Instructions
Step 1
If you have an earlier version of Windows (Vista or XP) installed on your computer, you can download the Windows Live Film Studio application from the official website at https://download.ru.msn.com/wl/moviemaker. After installation, launch the program and add your video using the "Add Videos and Photos" command from the main menu.
Step 2
Wait for the program to storyboard the movie, and then select the frame that you want to mirror. You can select one or several frames, or the entire video material. To do this, you will need to select frames by holding down the Ctrl key and selecting fragments with the cursor. Another option is to select everything using the hot keys Ctrl + A.
Step 3
Go to the "Visual Effects" tab in the main program menu (by default, the "Home" tab is open). To activate hidden effects, click on the arrow icon at the bottom of the effect bar scroll bar. In the "Reflection" section, select one of the following options: horizontal or vertical reflection. The effect will be applied immediately. To see the result, click the play button in the navigation bar. If you are satisfied with the result, proceed to the next step - saving the video file.
Step 4
Return to the Home tab and click the Save Movie button located on the right side of the toolbar. In the menu that opens, hover over one of the suggested video recording options to read the tips and select the appropriate format for the final video.
