Instructions

Step 1

If your computer is running Windows, use the PowerPoint tool to prepare your presentation. Start working with the "Start" button, then "All Programs". Select the MicrosoftOffice package, and in it Microsoft PowerPoint. Run the program.

Step 2

After loading the slides into the selected layout, go to the "Design" tab. On the toolbar, the first button on the right is "Background Styles". When you hover over the button name, a hint pops up: “Choose any background style for this theme. Right-click any style to bring up a menu of uses."

Step 3

Click on "Background Styles", a window with sample backgrounds will open. Use the tooltip and bring up a menu of application methods by right-clicking on the picture of the selected background.

Step 4

Choose from the proposed menu the method of application: to all slides or to selected ones. In the latter case, the slides must be pre-marked. Save your selection.

Step 5

If you are working in Linux, select "Office" from the Main Menu to prepare a presentation. Then go to "Presentations". In the window that opens, put a point in the circle "Empty presentation", then "Finish".

Step 6

Fill in the selected layout with slides. Select Page Backgrounds from the toolbar on the right. Select the desired slide, select a background for it from the suggested samples with the right mouse button and click on "Apply to Selected Slide". The background sample appears in the "Used in this presentation" list. If you want a common background for all slides, select the master you want and click Apply to All Slides.
