The Windows Welcome screen presented to the user as the logon interface in normal boot mode does not display the item corresponding to the administrator account. Usually it is not required, since limited rights are enough for most tasks. However, sometimes you need to log in exactly as an administrator.
Necessary
the password for the "Administrator" account
Instructions
Step 1
Start restarting your computer. Click on the "Start" button. In the menu that appears, select the "Turn off computer …" item. Click on the "Restart" button.
Step 2
If you need to log in once with administrator rights, and it is also permissible to do this in safe mode, press the F8 key at the beginning of the boot. In the menu, highlight the item "Safe Mode with Loading Network Drivers" and press Enter. When you log in, you will be able to select an administrator account. If this method does not work, continue with the normal download and follow steps 3-9.
Step 3
Log on with a user account that belongs to the Administrators group. Click on the corresponding button on the login screen. Enter your password if required.
Step 4
Start the Windows Control Panel. Click on the "Start" button. Expand the "Settings" section of the menu that appears. Select "Control Panel".
Step 5
Open the User Accounts folder. To do this, find a shortcut with this name in the control panel. Open it with a double click or context menu command.
Step 6
Open the User Accounts window. Click on the link "Change user login".
Step 7
Change the settings for the login interface. Deactivate the "Use Welcome Page" option. Click on the "Apply Settings" button. Close the User Accounts and Control Panel windows.
Step 8
End the current session. Click on the "Start" button. Click on the "Turn off computer …" item. In the drop-down list of the displayed dialog, make the current item "Session end". Click on the OK button.
Step 9
Log in as an administrator. In the User field of the Windows Logon dialog, enter Administrator. In the "Password" field, respectively, enter the password for this account. Click OK.
