Instructions
Step 1
First of all, all equipment must be connected to get the sound to be heard from the speakers. For example, an audio card to the motherboard (provided that it is discrete), as well as connecting wires from the speakers themselves to the case of the system unit. In addition to installing external devices, you should also not forget about the software, i.e. about drivers.
Step 2
Installing a discrete sound card is quite simple: open the side cover of the system unit, mount the board and return the cover to its original position. Then connect the connecting cord from the speakers to the board itself. Focus on the green color of the plug and connector.
Step 3
Now you need to turn on your computer. Connect it to the network and press the Power button on the front panel of the system unit. After the operating system is loaded, an icon with a pop-up message "New device detected" will appear in the tray. Within a few minutes, the standard installer will try to find a driver for the new device.
Step 4
It often happens that the required driver for a discrete card is not found, so it is recommended to use the original disk that came with the kit. You can also try to search for drivers on the Internet (on the manufacturer's official website). After installing this software, you will most likely receive a notification in the system tray to restart your computer.
Step 5
Check the speaker system is working. Press the power button on the case of one of the speakers or subwoofer, set the volume control to the middle position. You need to run any audio player on your computer and play the song. If sound can now be heard, the setup was successful. On your speakers, adjust the volume and balance between the left and right speakers as needed.
