Step 1
Currently, there are a lot of different programs on the Internet that test the Windows operating system for stability, and then fix the errors found. A very convenient program for this is the TuneUp Utilities utility. Although it is commercial, you can find a trivial version on the Internet. Download TuneUp Utilities and install it on your computer.
Step 2
Run the program. Immediately after its first launch, a system scan will begin. Upon completion, you will be taken to the main menu of the program.

The utility menu will have three sections. First go to the "System Support" section and set the "Automatic" option. Now the program will automatically correct errors in the operating system and eliminate their causes. It will also clear the registry and, if necessary, defragment the hard drive. Then go to the "Performance" section. If in this section there is an inscription "Recommendations", click on it. Recommendations for configuring the system will appear. For example, if any program negatively affects the operation of the OS, you will be prompted to remove it.
Step 4
Then go to the section "Fixing problems" and left-click on the line "Problems". A list of problems and solutions will appear. For example, the hard drive has not been checked for errors and may become unstable. And right there there will be a request to check it and fix the problem.
Step 5
After fixing all errors, restart your computer. The operating system should now be much more stable. From time to time, it is recommended to repeat the system check for errors in operation and eliminate them. Also, if a problem is detected, the program will automatically notify you about it.
