Or they are asked after reinstalling the system. In any case, there is usually a network status icon in your desktop tray. But what if the icon disappeared somewhere? How can I view the network status and turn it off if necessary? It turns out that you just need to find your computer's network connections using your operating system's controls.

Step 1
Enter on the desktop in the menu of the "Start" button and click on the item "Control Panel". The corresponding window will appear on the screen. The control panel contains a list containing the main management services of your operating system.
Step 2
In the list provided in the window, find the item "Network Connections". Open it by double-clicking on the element's icon. The window that appears on its left contains a list of all available network connections on your computer.
Step 3
If the list field is empty, it may mean that network connections are hidden by the system to prevent accidental violation of their configuration. In this case, clear the hide NE mode. To do this, find in the current window, on the right, the control panel. It displays the Show Network Connections link. Click on it with your mouse. Your network will appear in the list in the same window.
