The merge mode allows you to update the typical configurations of the 1C: Enterprise program, as well as make changes to your own configuration for developers of applied solutions. This mode is used for group development or inheritance of ready-made solutions by a newly created configuration.

Instructions

Step 1

Create an empty folder on your hard drive and copy the updated typical configuration file. Unpack it.

Step 2

Save all infobase data. Close the 1C: Enterprise program and make an archive copy. Open the program in the "Configurator" mode. To do this, in the "Launch 1C: Enterprise" window, specify the required infobase, and in the "In mode" field, select "Configurator".

Step 3

Open the "Configuration" window and select "Merge configurations". The "Open Configuration File" dialog will appear.

Step 4

Find and open the unpacked file with the updated sample configuration. Next, the process of downloading and comparing the downloaded version with the current one will take place. In this case, messages will appear in the status bar of the configurator indicating the compared metadata objects. At the end of the comparison process, the "Combine configurations" window will open.

Step 5

Check out the differences between the two configurations in metadata objects. Select the objects for which you want to study the differences in detail and call them in a separate viewport. To do this, set the selection on the line corresponding to these objects and click the "Compare" button.

Step 6

Review the information in the "Difference between: …" window that opens. All changes are highlighted in different colors. Press Esc to close the window.

Step 7

Set the configuration merge mode. At the bottom of the Merge Configurations window, set the priority to Loadable Configuration and the merge method to Replace Objects. When this method is selected, the metadata object will be added if it is new, or replaced by a loaded configuration object if it has changed.

Step 8

Check the boxes for the objects you want to include in the merge of the configurations. If the text in the lines of objects is written in gray, such objects cannot be independently included in the union. Use the All On and All Off buttons to turn all items on or off.

Step 9

Start the process of merging configurations by clicking OK.
