The new Windows 8 operating system from Microsoft differs from all previous versions of the system released earlier. She received the Metro shell, which significantly changed the work with the software component of the computer. Thus, the uninstallation of programs in the system has also been changed.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the Metro interface by moving the mouse pointer to the lower left of the screen and left-clicking on the corresponding area. You can also access this menu by clicking on the Windows keyboard icon located to the left of the Alt key.
Step 2
After opening the system interface, select the application you want to uninstall. To find the required application, you can scroll to the right with the mouse wheel or enter the name of the application you want using the keyboard.
Step 3
Right-click on the tile of the program you want to uninstall and select "Uninstall". Confirm the operation, after which the application will be removed from the computer and will no longer be used in the system.
Step 4
You can also call the standard uninstallation interface that was present in previous versions of the system. To do this, go to Metro and enter the query "Control Panel", then select the result that appears as a result of the search.
Step 5
You will be taken to the system desktop, where you will see a standard interface for managing system settings. Go to Programs and then Uninstall Programs. In the list that appears, you will see a list of applications available for removal.
Step 6
Left-click on the line with the desired program and select "Delete". Wait until the end of the uninstallation procedure and close the "Remove Programs" window.
Step 7
If you're using a Windows 8 tablet, the app is uninstalled through the Metro interface in a slightly different way. Press your finger on the utility you want to uninstall. Move the icon down to the delete area and then confirm the operation. The program will be automatically removed from the system. Similarly, you can uninstall the required application using the Control Panel interface.
