When editing text, it becomes necessary to transfer large chunks from page to page. Sometimes the scale of movement is even greater - from file to file or from blog post to another post. You can't get off with just copying, because the original piece remains in place, and you need to remove it from there. You can cut words in blog posts and word processors using the same principles.

Instructions
Step 1
Open a text file or log message for editing. Select the part of the text to be deleted by holding down the left mouse button (move the mouse itself up or down as needed) or with the arrow keys and “Shift”.
Step 2
Having selected the text in this way, hold down the “Ctrl X” keys. The text will disappear. You can go to another text document or post and paste there a piece from the clipboard (with the “Ctrl V” combination).
Step 3
Instead of this combination, you can click the "Properties" button (next to the right "Alt"). In the small menu, move the selection arrow over the Cut command and press enter. The text will disappear again, you can move it according to the previous scheme.
Step 4
And the third method is with the mouse. Select the text and right-click. When the menu appears, click the Cut command. The text will disappear, go to a new document or post, press the right button again and select the "Paste" command.
