External processing is not part of the application solution and is saved in separate files with the.epf extension. The main advantage of external processors is the ability to use them in a variety of applied solutions without changing the structure of the solutions themselves.
Instructions
Step 1
External processing can be created in the configurator. To do this, open the "File" menu of the upper service panel of the application window and select the "New" item. Use the "External processing" option in the list of the "Select document type" window that opens and confirm your choice by clicking the OK button.
Step 2
Start the created external processing for execution by opening it as a standard file saved on the hard disk of the computer. Such processing will work as application solutions. to do this, open the main menu of the program and select the "File" item. Select the "Open" subcommand and specify the full path to the saved external processing file with the.epf extension in the Open dialog box that opens. Confirm the execution of the selected action by clicking the Open button.
Step 3
Pay attention to the possibility of converting any processing existing in the configuration into an external one. It is also possible to add external processors or reports to the structure of applied solutions as new objects. To do this, start the configurator and specify the "Search in data" command. Select the desired action in the submenu: - replace with external processing; - insert external processing; - save as external processing; - compare, combine with external processing.
Step 4
It should be borne in mind that in version 8.2 the program cannot work with files saved on the computer. It is only possible to use files located on the server. Therefore, in order to open external processing, you must first send the file of such processing to the server. After that, connect the required external processing and open its form. Please note that moving an external processing file to the server involves first transferring this file to temporary storage.
