Step 1
Install the free program "Unlocker" on your computer.
Step 2
Open the "Documents and Settings" directory. Find the folder with the current username (to find out the current username press "Ctrl-Alt-Del" and read it in the window that appears). Then go to the "Application Data" directory. This directory contains the program that launches the intrusive pop-up window. In this case, there may be several options. Look for folders with names like AdSubscribe, FieryAds, AdRiver, or CMedia.

If you do not see the Application Data folder, go to Folder Options from the Tools menu, go to the View tab and select the Show hidden folders and files option.

Right-click on the "spyware folder" and click on "Unlocker". The program will ask you to confirm the action, after which it will try to completely remove the program. Unfortunately, at this stage, she will not be able to delete the entire folder and will display a message stating that the deletion will occur after the computer restarts. Complete this requirement.

After restarting your computer, open the Run dialog, which can be found in the Start menu. Write “regedit” in the text box and click “OK”.
