Instructions

Step 1

Click the "Start" button to bring up the main menu of the system and go to the "My Computer" item to create a new portfolio.

Step 2

Navigate to the folder where you want to create the portfolio and select the New submenu from the File menu in the top toolbar.

Step 3

Select the Briefcase command. To do this, right-click on the free space of the desktop to create a new portfolio on the desktop and select the "Portfolio" item in the "Create" context menu that opens.

Step 4

Establish a connection between the selected computers to synchronize data.

Step 5

Open the briefcase on the secondary computer and copy the required files from the primary computer to the briefcase.

Step 6

Make the desired changes to the portfolio files on the secondary computer.

Step 7

Choose Update All from the Briefcase application menu to sync all the contents of the portfolio.

Step 8

Select the Refresh Selected Items command to sync some of the preselected portfolio files.

Step 9

Connect a portable storage device (CD, USB device, floppy disk) to sync files stored on the flash drive.

Step 10

Open the portfolio and copy the selected files into it.

Step 11

Drag the briefcase to the removable device and disconnect the device.

Step 12

Connect the portable device to the secondary computer, open the briefcase, and make the necessary changes.

Step 13

Shut down, disconnect the removable disk from the secondary computer and connect to the primary one.

Step 14

Open the briefcase on the portable drive and choose Refresh All from the Briefcase menu in the top toolbar to sync all the contents of the portfolio.

Step 15

Select Update Selected Objects to sync some of the previously selected files.

Step 16

Press the "Refresh" button in the opened dialog box to confirm the command execution.
