Instructions
Step 1
Let's start by deciding what media you want to transfer the video to your computer from. If it is a digital video camera, then everything is very simple: we find a disk with drivers in the box from under the video camera (in which it was sold). Install it on your computer. We connect the camera to the computer via a USB cable, wait for the new hardware to start up, open the Pinacle program, look for the “video capture” function, activate it, press the “record” button, and press the “Play” button as the last action.
Step 2
With strict adherence to these steps, we will start the process of recording video to your computer's hard drive. However, you will have to wait, since the census speed is equal to the video playback speed. When the footage is finished, do not forget to press the "Stop" button. After this action, a window will appear in which there will be a proposal to save this file. You choose the configurations you need (let's say we save our video in * AVI format), assign a name to this file, and choose where it will be saved.
Step 3
After the file has been saved to your computer's hard drive, you can start saving it to DVD. As you know, these storage media have a capacity of 4.7 Gb, but this may not be enough. For such a case, you can use a dual layer DVD disc with a capacity of more than 9Gb. This is very convenient in cases where the video is heavy and there is no desire to split it into several discs.
