Until the Internet became publicly available, it was possible to transfer files from one computer to another using flash cards. Now a huge amount of resources has appeared in the user's arsenal. These are special sites, e-mail, and communication programs like skype and icq.

Instructions
Step 1
To transfer files from one computer to another without using the Internet, use memory cards (flash drives). They contain a different amount of information - from 256 MB to 10 GB. To do this, insert the card into a special slot on the front or rear panel of the system unit.
Step 2
Find the My Computer folder on your desktop and open it. Select the Removable Media icon. Hover over and right-click. Then drag the file you want to the memory card. After the transfer is over, look for the Safely Remove Hardware icon on the desktop panel. Click on it and shut down the USB stick. After that, it can be removed from the connector of the system unit.
Step 3
Use e-mail to transfer files over the Internet. Go to your inbox and create a new message. Specify the recipient. Click the "Attach" button. A menu will open in which you need to select the desired folder and file. Click on it. If the amount of information is small, it will be sent immediately. If it exceeds 20-30 MB, the resource will automatically upload it to the server and create a link, which will appear in the letter. The person to whom the message is addressed, by clicking on it, will be able to download the file to his computer.
Step 4
In addition to e-mail, you can use all kinds of programs such as skype and icq. To send a file, simply drag and drop it into the chat box. To receive it, the addressee must click on the "Accept" button. The only drawback of this transfer is the slow speed. Information is downloaded from computer to computer not as quickly as by e-mail.
Step 5
To transfer large files - movies, games, programs - use specially created sites - torrents. To do this, register on one of them to gain access to the download of information. Upload the file to the server. It will be assigned a number. Give this number to the recipient, or just send a link to the file.
