Microsoft's Excel program is well-deservedly popular. With its help, you can not only create tables, but also make diagrams or keep track of your home budget. It is often necessary to illustrate an Excel file using images, and then you need to insert a photo into the spreadsheet.

- - a suitable photo in computer files or on the Internet;
- - Insert Pictures add-on installed on the computer.
Instructions
Step 1
Open a spreadsheet (Excel file). To insert a photo into a group of merged cells, on the MS Excel 2003-2007 toolbar, click on the "Insert" tab and then "Picture". In MS Excel 2003, in addition, select "From File". Check the photo you want and click "Insert". Resize the inserted image and move it if necessary.

Insert part of the image using any viewer and editor such as IrfanView or Photoshop. Open the photo you want to insert a part of. Select what you need and click "Copy" on the toolbar or Ctrl + C.

Then open the Excel file and press Ctrl + V or right-click on the cell and select "Paste". Click on the photo with the right mouse button and select "Format Picture". Then click on "Properties" and put a check mark next to the item "Move and modify the object along with the cells."
Step 4
Set the photo as the background of the cells. To do this, right-click on the picture and select "Format Picture" and then "Properties". Check the boxes next to the items "Move and resize object with cells" or "Move, do not resize".
Step 5
If you know how to use CorelDraw, then open the program. Create a new canvas with Ctrl + N and resize it. Then use Ctrl + I to import the photo to the canvas. Edit or change it if necessary. Open the Excel file. Click on the object (photo) once - it should be highlighted. Hold down the left mouse button and drag the object into the file. From the menu that appears, select Copy As CorelDRAW. The photo will be inserted into the file.
Step 6
Insert a picture from the Internet. Right-click on the photo and select "Copy Image Address". Please note that the address must end in a graphic format -.jpg,.png,.
Step 7
Use the special add-on Insert Pictures. Download the archive ("InsertPictures Add-in …") and extract the files from it. Open the.xls file, which will load a blank Excel file. Agree to enable macros if necessary.
Step 8
After that, open the file with the names of the pictures, for example, file_for_processing.xls. Press the Ctrl + Shift + L keys at the same time in the Excel file. In the form that appears, select the path to the folder that contains the photos. Set the cell sizes you want and select the first cell on the sheet with the file name. Specify the column number to insert the photo. Press the green button. The photo will be inserted.
