A lot of different photos have accumulated on the computer, simple printing is no longer interesting. Do you want your photos to look more elegant, unusual? Try using frames for them. You can easily find a huge number of them on the Internet, or you can buy them in a set with other add-ons for photo processing. There is an interesting work ahead of you on placing a photo in a frame.
Instructions
Step 1
As a rule, photo frames are in png, gif,.
So, if, after opening the frame in Photoshop, you do not find a transparent area suitable for inserting a photo, you need to prepare it. On the toolbar, select the "magic wand" and click it approximately in the center of the white-filled area. Clear the selected area using the "Edit" - "Clear" command or by pressing the "Delete" key. Instead of filling, a checkerboard of squares will appear, which means an area without filling (transparent).
Step 2
Now open the photo you want to frame. View its contents (see if you need all the image). If you want to frame only part of the photo, use the selection tools - "rectangular area" or "oval area". After selecting the desired part of the image, copy it in any way, for example, by pressing the key combination "Ctrl + C" in the English layout.
Step 3
Open the prepared frame and paste the copied image (pressing the "Ctrl + V" keys). The image will be positioned over the frame. It can be small or very large, randomly placed. Selecting the tool "Move" give it the desired shape, size, set in the place in the frame where it should be.
Step 4
In order to place the photo outside the frame, change the layers. The border layer should be above the photo layer. If you are satisfied with the result, add some more interesting touches.
Step 5
To give the photo volume, to make it obvious that it is framed, add a style to the layer. To do this, go to "Layers" - "Layer Style" - "Blending Options". Here experiment with the parameters, define the shadow, outer or inner glow, etc. Choose the option that you like the most.
Step 6
Save the finished photo. To do this, select the "Save As" item in the "File" menu. In the window that opens, give the file a name, select the extension.jpg, image quality. Your work is complete.
