The many different exotic file formats that exist in the computer world can confuse even the most experienced user. One example is.isz.
Instructions
Step 1
The.isz format is essentially a compressed.iso file, i.e. is a disk image format. You can open it using one of the programs that allow you to work with images. Examples include Alcohol 120%, Daemon Tools, UltraISO, etc. Choose the application that is most attractive to you.
Step 2
Download and install the.isz software of your choice. To do this, double-click on the downloaded installation file, read the license, select a location on your computer and click the install button. Wait until the end of the process, then run the program.
Step 3
Create a new virtual disk on the system. It will be needed to open the.isz file. To do this, click on the "Add drive" button on the program toolbar ("Create a new virtual disk", etc., depending on the selected application).
Step 4
Mount the.isz image to the newly created virtual disk. To do this, double-click on it in the program interface and select "Mount Image" ("Load Disk", etc., depending on the selected application) or simply double-click on the virtual disk. In the dialog box that opens, find the required.isz file, then select it and click the "Open" button, or double-click on it.
Step 5
The selected image will be mounted on a virtual drive, after which autoload will start. If you want to view the contents of the downloaded image, open "My Computer", right-click on the virtual disk and select "Open". In the same window, you will see a list of directories and files in the mounted image.
Step 6
You can also use one of the programs designed to burn images to CDs. Insert the disc into the computer drive, launch the selected application and use its interface to write the image. Then put the CD back in your computer. You can now view its contents.
