The social network Instagram (Instagram) is one of the most popular in the whole world. It is very easy to use: I took a photo or video about the brightest moments of my life, applied special filters and sent it to the World Wide Web with a light flick of my finger. But what if you like to edit photos in professional editors on a Windows computer? How do I publish directly from my computer?
Using the Google Chrome browser
To upload a photo using Chrome, you need to install a special User-Agent Switcher for Chrome extension.
Give permission to view and change your data on the sites you visit, click the "Install extension" button.
An icon will appear in the upper right corner of the browser, you need to click on it to activate the extension.
Select the type of device (Android or iOS) from the drop-down menu.
We go to your account through the website Instagram.com. Now you can post photos. Click on the plus sign, select a photo and publish it to the delight of subscribers.
This method is suitable for uploading one processed photo, while you cannot upload a series of photos from a computer, video, filters and editing do not work.
Using the Instagram app for Windows 10
Open the Microsoft Store, find the Instagram application, download and install it. The application allows you to take photos and videos from your computer webcam. But in order to place the finished photo, close the Instagram application, place your photos in the "This computer - Pictures - Camera album" folder. In fact, it is possible to select a photo from other folders on the computer, but for clarity, let's do this trick with the "Camera Album" folder.
Now find your instagram icon and right click on it. A context menu will drop out, select the "New publication" item there.
A window will open, click on the "Film" button at the top of the window. You will have folders from which you can take a photo. We are interested in the "Camera Roll" folder. We select it, we can choose one photo, or we can place up to 10 in one publication using the "Select several" button.
Apply filters, edit each photo. Click "Next". Add captions and share your photos.
But the option "Swipe to see more" with the mouse did not work. But everything looks fine in the phone, you can see two photos in this publication.
Using a third party app if Instagram app is installed
Some applications for viewing and processing photos allow you to share your photos through Instagram installed on your computer. Right-click on the photo, select the "Open with" menu item and select the application. For example, the standard Windows 10 "Photos" application. The picture has opened, in the upper right corner, select "Share" and indicate what we want to share using Instagram.
The Instagram window opens, click the plus sign, "Next", apply filters, edit and publish.
You can also upload photos to Instagram through Android emulators for Windows (Bluestacks, Nox App Player, etc.).
