Minecraft would probably not be so interesting to its loyal fans if it did not strive for more and more realism of its virtual world. In addition to a variety of resources and mobs, there are also different types of weather conditions - including bad weather. Many players are eager to learn how, at their whim, to facilitate the completion of certain tasks in the gameplay, to cause certain natural phenomena.
Necessary
- - the necessary commands in the chat
- - BoomStick plugin
Instructions
Step 1
If you, following the example of a considerable number of other "minecrafters", want to learn the basics of weather control, you will not actually encounter difficulties in this undertaking. You just need to master some commands in the chat that can cause bad weather at the right moment for you in the game. For example, when you want to provoke the appearance of lightning, remember that it usually occurs during a thunderstorm. To call the latter, enter the following command in the chat: / weather thunder. Then, through a space, in triangular brackets, indicate the number that will mean exactly how many seconds the given weather phenomenon should last.
Step 2
When a thunderstorm begins, be very careful, as the lighting will become dimmer in it than in normal clear weather during the day. Accordingly, there will be favorable conditions for the spawning of various hostile mobs. Keep your weapon ready to repel their attacks at any time. Stay away from the sparkling bluish creepers - they've been hit by lightning and are now charged with particularly devastating explosions.
Step 3
In a thunderstorm, it's time to start calling lightning. To do this, again, you need to enter the desired command in the chat. This time it will look a little different than the previous one. Enter the following words: / summon LightningBolt. True, if you have a version of Minecraft below 1.8 installed, nothing will work for you with the above actions. In this case, you will need to install special mods that are available to every Internet user on the appropriate portals dedicated to the software of the popular game.
Step 4
A special plugin - BoomStick will help you. After installing it, you can turn into some kind of Zeus the Thunderer, if you create a wand that spews out lightning. To craft it, however, you will need certain resources: redstone dust, a wooden stick, a gold ingot and a very rare material - emerald. Having obtained everything you need, arrange the items on the workbench in this order. Place a wooden stick in the central slot, under it - an ingot of gold, to the left of it - redstone dust, and in the far right cell of the top row put an emerald. Take the finished wand.
Step 5
If you play on a server, the above tool most likely won't work for you - you won't even be able to create it at all. This is due to the incompatibility of the software (the BoomStick plugin is able to functionally interact only with some modifications of Minecraft). However, on many servers, some weather control options programmed by their creators will help you in calling lightning. For example, when you play the popular Bukkit, enter the command / thor - and enjoy the abilities of the spellcaster of natural phenomena.
