Step 1
Enable the СSS server using the hlds.exe file, in the RCON Password field, enter the password to access the server console. This is required to add an administrator account. Or write the command rcon_password "Enter password" in the console.
Step 2
In order not to constantly enter this command, you can add it to the server.cfg file, which is located in the Cstrike folder of your server. Now you can change all the necessary server settings using the console. Thus, you are logged in as an administrator to the CS server.
Step 3
Use a different method of administering the CS server if you have the AMX mod installed. Open the users.ini file with notepad located in the… / cstrike / addons / amxmodx / configs folder. To add an administrator to the CS server, write a line.
Step 4
Add a line to add an administrator by Steam ID "Game number" Abcdefghijklmnopqrstu "ce". For the IP admin panel, write a similar line, but instead of the license number of the game, enter the IP address. To assign an administrator account by login and password, enter the following: "Username" "Password" "abcdefghijklmnopqrstu" "a". For the changes to take effect without restarting the server, write the amx_reloadadmins command in the console.
Step 5
To log into the server under an administrator account, in the server console, write name "Administrator login" setinfo "_pw" "Administrator password". You can also add the line bind "=" "amxmodmenu" to facilitate server administration. Then, when you press the "Equal" button, the administration menu will open.
