Internet browser add-ons allow you to extend the functionality of your browser by adding additional capabilities. The source of add-ons, as a rule, is the Internet itself. Installing add-ins usually requires user permission. Some add-ons may be part of installed applications and are installed automatically.

Instructions
Step 1
Click the Start button to bring up the main menu and navigate to Internet Explorer to determine the list of installed add-ons.
Step 2
Click the Tools button and select Add-ons (for Internet Explorer 8) or Manage Add-ons followed by "Turn add-ons on or off" (for Internet Explorer 7).
Step 3
Select the Toolbar and Extensions section in the Show area (for Internet Explorer 8) or the Show list (for Internet Explorer 7).
Step 4
Specify "All Add-ons" (for Internet Explorer 8) or "Add-ons Used by Internet Explorer" (for Internet Explorer 7).
Step 5
Select the desired add-on from the list and click Disable to permanently disable the selected Internet browser add-on.
Step 6
Return to the main Start menu to disable all browser add-ons.
Step 7
Select "All Programs" and go to "Accessories".
Step 8
Select "System Tools" and select Internet Explorer (no add-ons).
Follow these steps to re-enable the add-in.
Step 9
Click the Start button to bring up the main menu and go to Internet Explorer.
Step 10
Click the Tools button and select Add-ons (for Internet Explorer 8) or Manage Add-ons and switch to Turn add-ons on or off (for Internet Explorer 7).
Step 11
Select All Add-ons under Show (for Internet Explorer 8) or Add-ons Used by Internet Explorer (for Internet Explorer 7).
Step 12
Select the required add-on and click Enable.
Step 13
Repeat these steps for each selected add-in.
Step 14
Click the Finish button (for Internet Explorer 8) or OK (for Internet Explorer 7) to confirm your choice.
