Enabling the user data synchronization function in different applications is carried out in different ways. Nevertheless, one of the basic principles of this procedure is the ability to use the standard system tools without the involvement of additional software.
Instructions
Step 1
To enable automatic synchronization of notebooks in OneNote, which is part of the Microsoft Office suite, open the book of your choice. Expand the "File" menu of the upper service panel of the application window and select the "Synchronization" item. Use the Notebook Synchronization Status subcommand and select the Automatic Synchronization If Changes line in the dialog box that opens. Confirm the execution of the selected action by clicking the "Synchronize" button and wait for the process to complete. Then use the "Close" command. Please note that the sync feature is already enabled by default.
Step 2
Turn on automatic syncing of user data in the Google Chrome browser. To do this, launch the browser and open the application settings menu by clicking the button with the wrench symbol on the upper service panel of the program window. Select the "Sign in to Chrome" item and enter the required data in the appropriate fields of the dialog box that opens.
Step 3
In the next dialog box for confirming the synchronization settings, select the desired action: - "Synchronization of all objects"; - Synchronization of certain objects ". Confirm your choice by clicking the corresponding button.
Step 4
When synchronizing individual objects, you will need to apply the checkboxes in the lines of the drop-down selection menu: - Settings; - Applications; - Omnibox history; - Themes; - Autofill data; - Passwords; - Bookmarks; - Extensions and confirm saving the changes made by clicking OK.
Step 5
Pay attention to the ability to encrypt synchronized information provided by the browser. Selecting this option will use your Google account password.
