Synchronization refers to the operation of copying and transferring data between a desktop computer and a mobile device. This procedure does not require deep knowledge of computer programming or software.
It is necessary
- - a mobile device that supports synchronization;
- - PC with Windows XP / 7 operating system;
- - USB connecting wire;
- - synchronization program (depends on the phone model)
Instructions
Step 1
Back up all important information stored on your phone so that you can recover your data in case of unexpected problems.
Step 2
Select the program for saving contacts on your computer: Windows Address Book and Calendar for Windows 7 and Windows Vista, or Outlook Express for Windows XP.
Step 3
Connect your mobile device to your computer using a USB cable (Bluetooth or infrared) and wait for the sync program icon to appear in the main Start menu or in the notification area on the taskbar.
Step 4
Specify the necessary synchronization parameters to select the type and properties of the transmitted data and wait until the comparison of infobases of the computer and mobile device is completed.
Step 5
Specify the required action - change the phone data in accordance with the data of the computer or supplement the computer information with the saved data of the mobile device. Determine if duplicate information needs to be removed.
Step 6
Wait for the sync process to complete and disconnect your phone from your computer.
