When browsing the web, there are times when the sites do not display images. This is because images may be disabled in the browser. You can also add the display of thumbnails in the folders of the operating system.
Instructions
Step 1
Turn on the display of pictures in the Internet Explorer browser, to do this, run the program, click on the gear icon ("Settings"), which is located in the upper right part of the window, go to "Internet Options", select the "Advanced" tab. Select the Show Images check box under Multimedia. Click on the "OK" button.
Step 2
Turn on the display of images in the Mozilla Firefox browser, to do this, start the program, select the "Tools" menu, go to the "Options" item. In the window that opens, select the "Content" tab, check the box next to the "Automatically upload images" option. Click OK.
Step 3
Launch Opera browser to enable displaying images. Select the "Settings" menu, the "General settings" item. then go to the "Web Pages" tab. Select the "Show all images" option from the list. You can also execute this command in the program window using the button in the lower right corner of the screen.
Step 4
Launch Google Chrome browser to enable image support. Click on the wrench icon, select the "Options" menu item, then select "Advanced". Click on "Content Settings" and select "Pictures" on the left side of the window, check the box next to the "Show All" option. Click on the "Close" button.
Step 5
Enable thumbnail display in Windows XP folders. Select a folder, go to the "Tools" - "Folder Options" menu. Go to the "View" tab, select the "Do not save temporary files of thumbnail images" option in the "Files and folders" section. Uncheck the box and click the "OK" button to enable thumbnail display.
Step 6
To perform this step in Windows Vista, start Explorer, select the desired folder, click Organize - Folder and Search Options in the menu bar. Next, go to the "View" tab, the "Files and folders" section, uncheck the "Always display icons, not thumbnails" option. Click on the "Apply to folders" button. Click OK.
