When processing images and creating collages, sometimes it is necessary to superimpose text on a picture. This can be done using the free paint.net editor.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the image in Paint.net using the Open command from the File menu. On the Image menu, click Resize and enter new values for the width and height of the image. If you want to keep the aspect ratio, check the corresponding option.
Step 2
In the word panel, click the Add New Layer icon. On the toolbar, press T to activate the Type tool. Specify the desired color on the palette. On the property bar, choose an appropriate font and size. Write on the layer.
Step 3
You can leave the image as it is, or you can try to make the inscription more interesting. For this, the text layer must remain active. Go to the Layers menu and click the Rotate and Scale command. The Perspective tool is used to move an object across the screen without distorting its proportions.
Step 4
You can achieve a perspective effect with the Rotate tool. Hook the center of the circle with the mouse and move it along one of the radii. This gives the impression of being rotated in three-dimensional space. Use the Scale slider to reduce or increase distortion.
Step 5
To fine-tune the settings, change the values of the angle, tilt angle and tilt radius in the "Settings" section by clicking on the up and down arrows in the corresponding fields. To position the label vertically, change the values in the "Offset Y" box, horizontally - "Offset X". Click OK when you are satisfied with the result.
Step 6
Double click on the text layer thumbnail in the layers panel. In the properties window, select the appropriate blending mode, which will make the collage more expressive.
