Step 1
Select the "Run" section from the "Start" menu. The "Run Program" pop-up window will tell you that you are on the right track.

Pay attention to the input line, it should get your attention first. Write "regedit" in it, this is the name of the registry itself. After entering the word and clicking on OK, you should be transferred directly to the working registry window.

You will see in it, or rather, on the left side of it, a branched list of folders. You need a folder named "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE". It is not difficult to find it. As soon as you do this, double-click on it or once on the cross.

Look in the new list for a document named "SOFTWARE", which usually displays the folders of all programs and games included in the registry.

Open the "SOFTWARE" document in the same way as you opened "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" earlier. Find the folder you want, you will recognize it by the name.

Select the folder with a single click with the left mouse button and view the right part of the window, which is closely adjacent to the list. The lists of keys of the selected folder are displayed there. Make sure that it is the root one (that is, that it is in it that the exe file is located). Otherwise, you will not see any keys. In the line of the key, under the item "Value", the path to the folder you are looking for is indicated.

Change the folder path to be correct. To do this, double-click on the key and enter in the value line the address leading to your folder, with all its contents.
