Instructions
Step 1
Download on the global network a special program designed to control bandwidth and provide quality service when working on the Internet - SoftPerfect Bandwidth Manager.
Step 2
Install this program on your computer.
Step 3
Go to the SoftPerfect Bandwidth Manager admin panel and activate the menu.
Step 4
Write the new settings in the two lists displayed on the screen. In the first table of the Download policy list, first specify the IP address of the personal computer to which the Internet speed will be limited.
Step 5
Then specify the port, as well as the speed itself (the maximum and minimum allowable value). In the second table, Upload policy list, write down the upload speed.
Step 6
Save any changes that you made to reduce your internet speed.
Step 7
Check the new internet speed using a special online service.
