Step 1
Before you start working with your webcam, you need to properly configure this device. Naturally, certain drivers are required for stable operation of the camera. Connect your mobile computer to the Internet. Please visit the developer site for this notebook.
Step 2
Open the downloads section and fill in the provided table. Please enter the exact name of your mobile PC model. This will prevent possible errors related to installing the wrong driver set.
Step 3
Download the suggested files. Update your webcam drivers. Use the functions in the Device Manager menu to do this. If the downloaded files are in exe format, install them as usual.
Step 4
Open the user manual for your mobile computer. If you do not have a paper copy, download the electronic version of the instructions from the site. Find out the keyboard shortcut required to activate the webcam.
Step 5
Install the program to configure the video capture device. It should be noted that not only popular instant messengers can be used for this. If you downloaded the program from the official website of the developers, use it to initially configure the device.
Step 6
Activate the webcam and launch the selected program. Evaluate the quality of the image transmitted to the display. Configure the camera settings. Set the desired brightness and contrast.
Step 7
Start configuring your microphone. If you are using a built-in speaker, it makes sense to increase its sensitivity. Open the control panel. Select the Hardware and Sound menu.

Open the sub-item "Manage audio devices". Go to the "Communication" tab, select the desired microphone and click the "Properties" button. In the new dialog menu, open the Levels tab. Select the sensitivity of the microphone and its gain, if required.
