The temperature sensor is an important element in some measuring instruments. Different sensors allow you to know the temperature of any body or environment. They are used not only by measuring instruments, but also by ordinary people in the household. And first of all, the question of connecting it will arise.

Instructions

Step 1

The sensor is a long cord about 2 m long, where the device itself is located at the end (usually it is highlighted in a different color, for example, black).

Step 2

The connection diagram is as follows: the sensor is connected to an ADC (analog-to-digital converter). It converts the analog signal from the sensor (current or voltage) to digital. One terminal (either of the two) is grounded, the other is connected to a 3-4 ohm resistor.

Step 3

Temperature sensors are connected to a specific module or data collection system, after which all received information is sent to a personal computer via the USB interface. There, in turn, a certain program must be installed that allows you to display and perform any actions with this information. With the help of the program, you can do a lot that you need in the process of work. Some modules or data acquisition systems are equipped with displays that show the result obtained after the measurement.
