A significant drawback of modern PC components is their very high heat dissipation. This is especially true for the processor and gaming graphics cards. Therefore, it is not surprising that the system unit can get very hot, especially in high load mode. And if the frequency of the processor and video card is also overclocked, then the temperature of the computer may rise above normal.
Instructions
Step 1
To cool the computer components, heatsinks are used, to which the cooler is attached. But over time, they become covered with dust, respectively, the PC components are cooled worse. That is why from time to time it is necessary to clean the radiators from dust and dirt. To do this, disconnect your computer from the electrical outlet. Open the cover of the system unit.
Step 2
You can use a damp cloth to clean the radiator. The “fins” of the radiator are the most difficult to clean from dust. To do this, you can use a soft watercolor brush. The cooling cooler also needs to be cleaned. Be sure to free the surface of the motherboard, hard drives, video card from dust. As a result of these manipulations, the cooling system will work more efficiently. Accordingly, the overall temperature inside the system unit will become lower.
Step 3
Alternatively, to reduce the temperature, you can install cooling on the hard drives. There are several types of HDD cooling. The simplest and cheapest are small fans that are mounted on the surface of hard drives. There are more expensive options, for example, large radiators made in the form of a "pocket" into which the device is inserted. Of course, if funds permit, it is better to purchase a radiator. It works quietly, the cooling level is better, and it also eliminates the vibration of the hard drive.
Step 4
You can also reduce the temperature inside the computer by replacing the standard processor cooler, which is installed during PC assembly, with a more efficient one. There are a large number of fan models. More expensive cooling systems are equipped with large heatsinks and large diameter coolers. Such fans at a lower rotational speed will not only lower the temperature of the computer, but also make it much quieter.
