Proxy addresses are used to access the Internet through any server or computer. They are usually used to configure Internet access within a local network or to hide a valid IP address.

Step 1
If you need to configure a proxy server for the browser, then first find the values of the working servers. If using the FireFox browser, follow these steps. Run the program and open its settings. Go to the "Advanced" tab.

Open the "Network" menu. In the item "Internet connection" click the "Configure" button. Activate the "Manual proxy service configuration" option. Write down the values of the proxy servers and their ports yourself. Click the "OK" button and restart the application.
Step 3
In the event that you are using the Opera browser, press the key combination Ctrl and F12. In the menu that opens, go to the "Advanced" tab. Open the Network menu and click the Proxy Servers button. Highlight the "Configure proxy servers manually" option. Set the values of the required servers. Save the settings.
Step 4
If you need to configure Internet access through a proxy server within the entire computer, then open the list of network connections. Select the local network through which this computer is connected to the server. Right-click on its icon and select "Properties".
Step 5
In the menu that opens, select the line "Internet Protocol TCP / IP" and click the "Properties" button. Check the box next to Use the following IP address. Fill in the "IP address" field so that the first three segments match the server address, and the fourth is not identical with other computers on the local network.
Step 6
Now write in the field "Default gateway" the address of the proxy server. In this case, you do not need to register the port. Fill in the Preferred DNS Server field in the same way. If you have several proxy servers, you can register the address of another server in the "Alternative DNS server" field. Save the settings for this network adapter.
