Step 1

First, log into Windows as a computer administrator.

Go to Windows Control Panel. To do this, go through the following menu items: "Start" -> "Settings" -> "Control Panel".

Select User Accounts. In the window that opens, click "User Accounts" again.

Next, you need to click on the "Manage another account" button. Then select the administrator account.

Select "Create Password".

In the field "Enter new password" you must enter your desired password. It will need to be repeated in another field called "Enter the password for confirmation". In order not to forget your password, enter a hint in the corresponding field. After entering and confirming it, you must click the "Create password" button. If both times they were specified the same, then the password will be set. Otherwise, you will need to re-enter your password and its confirmation.

If step 6 was completed successfully, then at this moment you will be prompted to protect your documents on the computer from the encroachments of other users. Choose the item that suits you best. In this simple way, you set the password yourself. To check the success of the operation, simply restart your computer.
